Its attack patterns are easy to grasp, however, and its health pool is quite low, so this boss should be a piece of cake compared to later encounters. Burial Tree Watchdog (Stormfoot Catacombs)įound at the end of the Stormfoot Catacombs, the Burial Tree Watchdog loves to float into the air and slam down on top of you. At its end are the Demi-Human Chiefs - two relatively strong Demi-Humans who can nonetheless be very easily overwhelmed by distracting them with your Spirit Ashes, and dealing with them one at a time. ![]() Demi-Human Chiefs (Coastal Cave)Ĭoastal Cave is probably the easiest dungeon in Elden Ring, located on the beach to the west from when you first set foot in Limgrave. But I'm mentioning it here for completion's sake. This swordsman is barely tougher than the standard soldiers you'll encounter out and about in Limgrave, so it's hardly a boss at all. Players starting a new game of Elden Ring will likely face the Soldier of Godrick in the Cave of Knowledge. Either use a big shield to soak up these attacks before striking, or time your dodges through his attacks so you can strike from behind. The Grafted Scion is one of the nastier early-game Elden Ring bosses, with its many hands allowing for long combos of far-reaching sword attacks. What you may not realise is that you can actually return to this location and challenge the Scion to a rematch by taking an Imbued Sword Key to the third-highest of the Four Belfries on the west coast of Liurnia Of The Lakes.
